Specific the the Black Edition 7900 Series MERC 310 cards. there is a premium one piece aluminum fanshroud cover which is both incredibly sturdy yet light weight and improves indirect cooling of ambient heat traps generated by the heatsink.
Premium Fans
Features 3 full-size 100mm fans, with a dual ball bearing construction for ultra smooth operation that drastically extends the life of the fans. Paired with smart silent auto cooling detection sensors.
Zipper Fin Heatsink
Features a full aluminum zipper fin heatsink with a staggered fin design to increase airflow and heat dissipation while simultaneously reducing noise caused by air friction.
Heatpipes
The new XFX Radeon RX 7000 series have nickel plated copper heatpipes using a staggered design which reduces a concentration of hotspots on the heatsink resulting in drastically improved heat dissipation.
Vapor Chamber
XFX has brought back our server grade vapor chamber for significantly improved heat transfer over standard copper and aluminum cold plates. Additionally we’ve taken that added step of nickel plating our copper vapor chamber to improves its overall quality.
